Outpatient Substance Abuse Services
The Outpatient Substance Abuse treatment Facility at Saint Michael’s Medical Center is one of only a small number of outpatient facilities in and around Newark that can treat co-occurring and substance abuse disorders.
Our team represents a variety of disciplines that interact and coordinate efforts to diagnose, treat and plan the approach to the treatment of additions.
Programs Available Within the Facility Include:
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) - This service is designed for both men and women with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring disorders, this occurs for at least 9 hours or more per week.
- Outpatient Therapeutic Program (OP) - up to 6 hours per week
